Bryngoch
The layout is based on an old slate mining railway in North Wales.
Following a period of prosperity the line fell on hard times in the 1930's and eventually closed in the early 1950's. However,
the history of the line was not to end there as a group of enthusiasts raised sufficient funds for its purchase
and eventual restoration.
Today the railway no longer carries slate but instead serves as
a tourist attraction for thousands of holiday makers who visit North Wales each year.
