A dinner was held on Wednesday 19th May 2010 to celebrate the 40th Anniversay
of the Spalding Model Railway Club. Over 30 current and former members enjoyed
the meal and lots of chat about 40 years of club progress.

The new running tracks layout is in operation. Two tracks are set up for analogue control and two for DCC.

The N gauge "Penton in the Dales" layout is also being changed to DCC and for continuous running, it is also being extended by another 4 feet.

Work is well in hand on altering "Harriston" which will be the new children's layout at this years Exhibition

The American group are busy building base boards for their new layout to replace "San Andreas Summit" the new layout will be both analogue and DCC.

Work is progressing on the O gauge "Brindle Walk" layout which has been joined to our other O gauge layout and is now over 50' in length.

The HO continental layout is complete and is now set up for continuous running.

The Club will again be doing a display for "The Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance" at Baytree Garden Centre on the weekend of September 18th & 19th 2010

The exhibition raffle proceeds allowed £200 to be donated to the children's ward at the Pilgrim Hospital in Boston.
