Oakhurst

Oakhurst represents an imaginary terminus on the South Eastern Railway during the 1880's. The track plan is loosely basen on the old Bromley North layout, the turntable at the end of the platform roads being a not uncommon feature on many railways at the time. The idea is to show a representative selection of trains of the period worked to a sequence.

Scaleseven standards for track and wheels were adopted from the outset of construction of stock and there have been no regrets about this decision.
